 Kali is considered one of the most comprehensive martial arts, and even though it is known for its sophisticated weaponry, it also has highly effective empty hand and grappling techniques. Students will experience an increase in eye-hand coordination and reflexes, while developing practical self-defense skills. Wing Chun is a Chinese system of kung fu that is based on tactile sensitivity for use in practical self-defense. Training develops speed, reflexes, and power to apply in many forms of combat. Studying the art of Wing Chun will develop coordination, body awareness, and tactile sensitivity. This album shows the ECA students training hard and having fun in the Wing Chun program.

Our children’s curriculum consists of JKD, Muay Thai, Wing Chun, and Filipino Kali. We work on developing the coordination and gross motor skills in children. The child will learn discipline and respect while enjoying themselves and getting physical activity. This album shows ECA students training hard and having fun in our Juniors JKD program.

At ECA Martial Arts we encourage testing in our programs.  Testing allows a student to know where they are in their training as well as gives them a goal to work towards. We like to acknowledge those that test since they work very hard for this.  The pictures in this album are ECA students that tested in our Childrens JKD program.
